Fiscal Year 2014 Pre-Bidder's Conference to be Held May 9th
The Justice Grants Administration and the Office of Victim Services will be hosting a mandatory FY’14 Pre-Bidder’s Conference. There will be two sessions conducted on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Your organization must attend only one session. At least two key staff who will be involved in the application submission for an award must be in attendance.
During the conference, JGA and OVS will review the following:
• Request for Applications—OVS
Consolidated, JGA Consolidated, Truancy
• How to apply using ZoomGrants™ --new electronic Grants Management System (eGMS)
• Grant fraud and awareness
• Evidence-based services
The location for these sessions will be 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Room G9. (The location for these training sessions are Metro Accessible – take the Red Line to Metro Center or the Blue/Orange Line to Federal Triangle)

The Executive Office of the Mayor, Office of Victim Services (OVS), provides Federal and District funding to local initiatives that address the issues of violent crime, public safety and criminal justice. OVS is also responsible for monitoring grantees for compliance with federal and district regulations working to build a comprehensive network of services for the citizens of the District of Columbia.
The Office of Victim Services is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for funding to maintain the comprehensive network of services available to victims of violent crime; to address the issues of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault in a manner that promotes victim safety and offender accountability; to improve the treatment of victims of crime by providing them with the assistance and services necessary to aid their restoration after a violent criminal act, and to support and aid them as they move through the criminal justice process.
